Practical Shamanism

What is Shamanism?

Shamanism is best defined as an outlook on life, and a healing practice. It is the belief that there is a connection between our selves, our loved ones, our community, the planet and the universe. People, birds, stones, plants and the earth itself are all part of an interconnected web of life. Each piece of the web affects and is affected by the others. This way of looking at life acknowledges equal value in all things. We practice being in balance and harmony with all aspects of life.

Practical Shamanism

Practical Shamanism is an 8-week course to deepen and explore our current knowledge of Shamanism, and how it is utilized in ceremony as ritual. Shamanism is an outlook on life and a healing practice. It is the belief that there is a connection between ourselves, our loved ones, our community, and the planet and the universe. People, birds, stones, plants, and the earth itself are all part of an interconnected web of life. Each piece of the web affects and is affected by the others. This way of looking at life acknowledges the equal value in all things. We practice being in balance and harmony with all aspects of life. By sharing knowledge and experience we can empower our communities by giving everyone the tools necessary to open and explore in a safe and deep journey. In an authentic relation to one’s self, it can be reflected in the community as a collective conscience. Starting with our inner community, and building our capacities as a collective. The intention is to help bring understanding to your current knowledge of practical Shamanism with direct experiences building as a collective. We start from within ourselves developing our inner worlds and capabilities, with practical exercises learning how to navigate and locate our own presence each time pursuing a fuller and clearer center, learning to be presence to the whole. We will practice the art of creating together, weaving our unique signatures together, and individually becoming a clearer vessel in order to learn how to hold more compassion as a group.
